, University at Albany

Current 4th year PhD in Chemistry student/RNA fellow at the University at Albany and RNA Institute. My research is in molecular diagnostics utilizing both CRISPR systems and artificial intelligence for new innovative technologies. Currently, I am developing a diagnostic to detect miRNA with CRISPR systems that is more rapid, sensitive and specific than current platforms. In regards to artificial intelligence, my focus is using fluorogenic 2D nanosensor array for discrimination and authentication of cell lines. The goal of this work is to attempt to tackle cell line contamination problems especially in respects to HeLa.
